The Match (2017)
A group of over 40 new medical graduates share their stories in a unique and exclusive peek behind the curtain at what it really takes to become a doctor in Canada. Everyone knows it’s hard work getting in, but just how difficult is it to get out?

From British Columbia to Nova Scotia, from the U.S. to Ireland and beyond, this intimate story about our doctors continues to resonate with audiences, while also opening an dialogue for current and future med students alike.
In Canada, the doc was also a featured video by the Canadian Medical Association (CMA).
Patient People (2020)
In March 2017, graduating medical students took part in a short documentary about their paths to becoming physicians. Now, six of those students return to discuss what it feels like to be a new doctor facing the COVID-19 pandemic.
Project origin:
Selected as 1 of 15 recipients for the CBC Creative Relief Fund, Patient People was produced, shot, and completed during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, from summer through winter 2020.
In order to adhere to the worldwide lockdown protocols, strict production parameters were followed, along with inventive workarounds like using animation and remote filming technology that was novel at the time.
